How to Get to Lien Minh Valley

It simply takes roughly half an hour to drive Cat Ba city center to Butterfly Valley.  To avoid getting lost, stay on DT356 and be mindful of the crossroads.  The road may be a bit difficult, but the surrounding scenery will make you forget all your fatigue.  If you prefer exploring, pick a motorcycle so you can travel fast and take in the scenery as you go.

Start Cat Ba Town center: Head towards DT356, the main road leading out of town.

Follow DT356: At the first intersection, turn as indicated. The road may be uneven, so proceed carefully.

Pass the Trai Chau Medical Station: Continue straight until you reach the medical station, then make a right turn.

Follow signs to Thien Ung Pagoda: Keep going straight along this road, and you will arrive at the valley.
